Important Announcement about Website Builder

Three years ago we launched OU Campus, a content management system for creating and maintaing web pages without having to know any HTML. We have trained hundreds of users including staff, faculty and students to use OU Campus to accomplish their goals ranging from minor content edits to major relaunch. We are currently building new templates and functionality similar to Website Builder inside OU Campus.
Major benefits using OU Campus include: no plugin to download and install, a WYSIWYG editor that works on all modern browsers, auto save, drag & drop, scheduled publish, and integration with social media (Facebook, Twitter & WordPress)
OU Campus will be opened up for early adopters with new templates and functionality on November 12th. Two kick-off sessions are scheduled on November 12th at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Kick-off sessions are 2 hours long and provide great opportunities for feedback. Web Services will migrate early adopters web pages from Website Builder to OU Campus and during training early adopters will update their new website from OU Campus. Interested? register for the kick-off training session.
During the winter break we will be migrating all faculty websites (excluding early
adopters) from Website Builder to OU Campus. After migration Website Builder users
will receive a welcome email with steps to login and upcoming training session. Web
address for faculty websites (example: http://www.sjsu.edu/people/mark.vanselst/ ) will not change, however the new website will use the new SJSU templates. Feel free
to check out the side-by-side mock-up of new and old website. There isn't anything that anyone will need to do on their own as part of the upgrade. If

January 5 - 9, 2015
Web Services will be migrating all faculty websites (excluding early adopters) from Website Builder to OU Campus. When migration is complete faculty will receive a welcome email with steps to login and upcoming training session. Ongoing training will be providing by Center for Faculty Development. Support and technical assistance will be provided by Web Services, IT Services.
January 12, 2015
Faculty will login via OU Campus to edit their website and Website Builder will be shutdown.
Website Builder is a simple and user-friendly solution that allows faculty to easily create and maintain a professional and accessible website. Website Builder was launched on March 5, 2009.
- New accounts for Website Builder are no longer created
- Starting January 12, 2015 faculty can request an OU Campus account for building their website. If you have any questions contact firstname.lastname@example.org
