Service Description

Information Technology (Information Technology) provides secure Internet access to campus while controlling access to/from the Internet to campus.

Who can use the service?

Campus Technicians that need to grant or restrict network access to servers.

How do I get this service?

Service is provided to customers though their local department technician.

How long does it take to get the service?

Firewall changes must go through the appropriate review and approval process by the Information Security Office.  These requests can take up to 5 business day.

How do I get support?

Support for this service is provided Monday through Friday, during operating hours through the Information Technology Help Desk.


Network Firewall is an Information Technology Baseline service and is offered at no additional cost to the Campus Community.
