Information Technology (Information Technology) provides capacity planning, installation, configuration, design of database, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery. We also provide technical database support to campus community.

Evaluation of business needs, Design of database modeling, Implementation of database structure, Maintenance of database related issues, monitoring database and tuning database performance. Administration database for up time for business requirement, compliance with security policy. Technical support for Application Developers.
How do I get this service?
Please work with your department's technical analyst to get your business needs articulated. This service relies on your technical analyst having an understanding of the business needs that are trying to be achieved. For assistance with finalizing business requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Your technical analyst will work on getting your request approved and prioritized before submitting a request on your behalf to the Database Administrator team using iSupport Change ticket:

Initial response to request is within 5 business days.Once initial meetings are held timeline will be established based on scope, priority and available resources.

Support for this service is provided Monday through Friday, during operating hours through the Information Technology Help Desk.
Database Services is an Information Technology Baseline service and is offered at no additional cost to the Campus Community. There may be additional cost to acquire vendor provided services.
