SJSU_Guest Wi-Fi Set Up Guide

Faculty, staff and registered students can connect to SJSU_Premier using their SJSUOne accounts. If you do not have an SJSUOne account or otherwise cannot connect to SJSU Premier, you can self-register for a one-week SJSU Guest Wi-Fi account.


  1. Select the SJSU_Guest connection from your device’s Wi-Fi connection list

  2. Under SJSU_Guest, click Connect
    If prompted, select that this is a Public (unsecured) network

  3. Open a web browser
    The SJSU Guest Portal page will display
  4. Select the Don’t have an account? Forgot Password? link

  5. The SJSU Self Registration page displays
    Enter your information, and then click Submit

  6. Your account confirmation displays
    Make careful note of the Username and Password
    You can also retrieve this information from the email address you used to register
    Click OK

  7. You will be returned to the SJSU Guest Portal page
    Enter your new Username and Password, and then click Sign On

  8. Click Accept if you agree to the terms and conditions

  9. You are now signed in and you can begin browsing the Internet
    Please be aware that SJSU Guest accounts restrict access to some media streaming sites, such as Netflix. Your account will be active for 7 days. After that time, you will need to re-register if you wish to continue accessing SJSU Guest.
