Speaker Jim Grubb, Vice President for Emerging Technologies and Chief Demonstration Officer at Cisco. Jim spoke about the “Internet of Things” (IoT) – how physical objects are now embedded with electronics, software, sensors and network connectivity which allows them to collect and exchange data.  He also talked about how this impacts each of us, SJSU and other higher education institutions.
