How do I?


Answer a call when I’m on the phone?

  1. If a call comes in when you are on a call, your phone will beep and a light for the other line will flash
  2. Press the Session button for that line
    Your current call will be placed on hold and the incoming call will become active
  3. You can switch back and forth between calls using the Session button


Put a call on hold?

  1. While on an active call, press the Hold button
  2. To resume the call, press the lit Session button
    Be aware that placing a call on hold will play hold music for your caller


Transfer a call?

  1. While on an active call, press the Transfer button
    The caller will be placed on hold
  2. Dial the number or extension to which you wish to transfer the call
    (or select the listing from your directory or call history)
  3. Press the Transfer button again at any time to complete the transfer
  4. If you make a mistake, you can press the Cancel button on your screen


Transfer a caller directly to someone's voicemail?

  1. While on an active call, press the Transfer button
    The caller will be placed on hold
  2. Dial asterisk (*) and then the number or extension to which you wish to transfer the call
    (or select the listing from your directory or call history)
  3. Press the Transfer button again at any time to complete the transfer
  4. If you make a mistake, you can press the Cancel button on your screen


Add someone to a conference call?

  1. While on an active call, press the Conference button
    Your call will be placed on hold
  2. Dial the number or extension you wish to add to the call
    (or select the listing from your directory or call history)
  3. Press the Conference button again at any time to rejoin the other call


Drop someone from a conference call?

  1. While in a conference, press Show Details on your screen
  2. Select the caller you wish to drop from the call, and then press Remove


Transfer a caller to my own voicemail?

  1. At any time during a call, you may press the Divert button on your screen to send your caller to voicemail


Forward all my calls?

  1. Press Forward All on your screen
  2. Type in the extension or number to which you wish your calls to be forwarded
    Remember, if forwarding to an outside number, to first dial 7+1+ area code
  3. Alternately, you may press the Messages button to forward all calls to voicemail
  4. To cancel call forwarding, press Forward Off on your screen
