Inserting Video Content

There are several ways to add video content to a web page, depending on the source of the video file. Possible sources include 

Uploaded Video

To add this type of video to your page, use the Insert/Edit Embedded Media button. Select HTML5 Video as the type then use the Browse button to find and upload the video.

Embedded YouTube Video

To add a YouTube video:

  • Copy the URL from the embed code on the YouTube page
  • In OU Campus, click the "Insert/Edit Embedded Media" button in the toolbar
  • Choose "Iframe" as the type
  • Paste the URL into the "File/URL" field
  • Click the Insert button

Embedded Flash Video

  • Click the "Insert/Edit Embedded Media" button in the toolbar
  • Select the "Source" tab in the window that opens
  • Enter the following text, replacing the appropriate values with those from your own video:

  • Click Insert
