Add Members to a Google Group

Open your group

  1. Go to Google Groups
  2. Sign in with your SJSUOne ID and password
  3. Click the My Groups button
  4. Click the link for the Google Group you wish to open
  5. Click the Manage button (in upper right area of your screen)

Add members

  1. In the left menu, navigate to Members >> Direct add members
  2. Add your shared mailbox to the group:
    • Enter Email Addresses:  Enter the email addresses of the people you wish to add to your group
    • Write a Welcome Message:  Enter information about group
    • Email subscription options:  Select No email
  3. Click the Add button
  4. In the left menu, navigate to Members >> Direct add members
  5. Add your delegates and participants who wish to receive notifications to the group:
    • Enter Email Addresses:  Enter the email addresses of the people you wish to add to your group
    • Write a Welcome Message:  Enter information about group
    • Email subscription options:  Select All email
  6. Click the Add button
