Next Generation Project Description
The first project to be delivered to campus this month is WebEx. Web conferencing, including video, audio and computer interactions will be available for all faculty and staff to host via the WebEx system.
Other individuals inside and outside of SJSU can join also participate in the scheduled conferences. Instructors will be able to use WebEx to record class activities and share the recording with their enrolled students for review after the class session.
Online training materials including video tutorials, reference guides and short how-to materials will be available to support the usage of the new tool. You can access WebEx from the MySJSU homepage and use your SJSUOne ID & password to sign-in.
Members of the SJSU campus community are starting to see the effects of the Next Gen Technology Project in the way we conduct our day-to-day activities.
You may have experienced WebEx for meetings and interactive sessions, or Lecture Capture which is enhancing the collaboration and communication with students and instructors in some classrooms.
For additional news about the status of our Next Gen Technology Project, view the monthly Administration and Finance Division Newsletter.
