Information Technology Management Advisory Committee

Committee's Purpose

  • Coordinates and directs activities required to manage or support university IT resources
  • Works collaboratively in managing IT throughout the campus
  • Explores opportunities that optimize the benefits of technology issues on campus
  • Assist in identifying the campus long-range technology goals
  • Reviews and adopts multi-year technology plans that specify campus-wide technology needs

Committee Structure

The following IT governance committees serve to advise the Information Technology Advisory Committee and to ensure collaboration with the CIO and VP of IT Services. Subcommittees which meet regularly and work teams which meet as needed include:

  • Technology Specific Committees
  • Campus Techs
  • Staff Focus Groups
  • Campus Information Security Committee

Membership

Membership in the IT Management Advisory Committee is university-wide, including Senior IT managers and IT staff representatives from colleges, administrative offices and auxiliaries.
